There was a huge festival in downtown Raleigh today, including 170 artists, food trucks, entertainment on 2 stages and an entire children's section. Being that our walls are very bare, we've been hoping to find a local art show to maybe find some outstanding works of art. Weather was somewhat lousy (cloudy, sometimes drizzly, very windy and raw) but we went anyway. Didn't find anything big within our price range for over the bed for couch, but we did find a nice piece for a smaller wall area and the bathroom. It was a lot of walking and I'm proud that I was able to do it all without frequent rest stops.
Afterwards, we went out for a quick bite to eat and then spent a few hours and then out to eat for dinner with the kids. All in all, a very lovely (albeit expensive) Sunday.
