I wish I could say "hanging out", but today was actually spent hanging pictures on the walls. We still have a few walls left (big ones) but at least we got some stuff accomplished.
This week was rather busy with running around. Mitch needed to see an orthopedist about his other shoulder, I had a mammogram. I also had a very fun activity with the ladies of my shul on Tuesday night: we met at "Cheers and Paint," which was a class of wine and painting. This is what I painted. It is hanging up where it belongs -- in my bedroom closet! I don't have an artistic bone in my body. However, I had a great deal of fun and made a few new friends, which is really all that matters, right?
During the week, we also took a walk to the clubhouse to get a package and decided to sit on the balcony for a bit (while I had my wine). There were 2 other people there as well and we got to chatting. One person is opening a business in the area shortly, and I gave her my business info. Who knows? Maybe she will use my services.
